Our mission is to convey collective voices about issues of our time, through art and art related activities, to achieve social change. We facilitate and engage with developing and realising projects by working with professional and early carrier artists as well as the local community.
Members and with kind support from knitter groups in Redcar and Durham, are knitting a Christmas tree. It is made with green scarves that will be given away in January. I, too took up knitting after 30 years of not doing this. I hope someone will like the scarves I am knitting. If you would like to take part or can donate green wool, please contact us!
We wonder what we value under the current hardship of the cost of living crisis. We urge everyone to share the image that is important to them. We will print out your image, mount it and display it together with 499 other images and AI created images. You can collect your work during the Redcar Summer Exhibition (July - August 2024) at Redcar Contemporary Art Gallery. Please bring your image or email it to us.
Members are dedicated to develop and deliver art projects and art related activities to raise awareness and convey collective voices about social issues of our time. If you would like to be a volunteer, please do contact us. We always appreciate your support.
We are located at the Redcar Contemporary Art Gallery building. 13 West Terrace, Redcar TS10 1DS
