The work I have chosen to submit is a direct response to the environment. On a recent trip to Vietnam I was inspired by an idea of direct photography, through slow shutter speeds, focusing on light. I wanted to show culture through light, as it was a way of creating a universal image, harking back to the very essence of a photograph. The images are about the most primary connections between people, the things we all experience, time, light. The presentation of the image should be the largest size the photo is capable of being printed at:A3.
