Of the rolling Earth I
These paintings form part of a series of work painted on site in the garden making studies of the contents of flower pots and containers in the garden as Spring gradually breaks through and reveals itself. I love the idea that we don't have to have a lot of space to enjoy the nature, particularly in an urban context; living in a flat for example. So much can be revealed about the living world by just growing things in a simple container.
