Long exposure photography, drawing with light. These three images represent the universal march of culture, not governed by race or class, towards a common goal, harmony.
On a recent trip to Vietnam I was inspired by an idea of direct photography, through slow shutter speeds, focusing on light. I wanted to show culture through light, as it was a way of creating a universal image, harking back to the very essence of a photograph. The images are about the most primary connections between people, the things we all experience, time, light.
